My Saturday morning memory…

As summer is winding down to a close, I think back to the days when my kids were little.

When kids are small, summer is filled with wonder and adventure.
So much of our time back then was spent outside.
We would pull out the old garden hose and attach the sprinkler.
They would often want to get out all the pool gear in preparation for a fun day.
(We didn’t have a pool, but for some reason we had a lot of pool gear)
Then they would strap on their goggles and floaties, and run all around the yard and through the sprinkler.
It was ridiculous.

I can still see them running around looking like little weirdos.

And I am thankful to have proof of their ridiculousness in pictures.

Happy. Joyful. Carefree.

Goodbye summer! It’s been a good one.  I hope yours was happy, joyful and carefree.
